UEC currently operates two programs:

Camp United - A 7 week summer day camp that runs June 15 - July 31 2009. The hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The camp features activities in sports & recreation, arts, education, and social events.  The camp is held at Forest Park High School. Click here for map & directions. The cost is $90 per week, and has a one-time $20 registration fee per child. Before care is an additional $10 per week per child and begins at 7:30 a.m.

After School Club - Our after school program operates Monday - Friday at Mt. Washington Elementary School from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Activities include Spanish, American Sign Language, health & nutrition education, walking club, reading, mathematics, arts & crafts, music club, chess club, scrabble club, and recreational sports & games.

UEC’s program participants represent a culturally and economically diverse group of Baltimore City youths. UEC’s overall goal is to give participants a unique and fulfilling experience which they can build on as they transition from adolescense to young adults. Our programs are well structured, fun, and produce measurable results. UEC has had a profound impact on many (past) participants, who continue their involvement as mentors of the programs.
